Swap to Simple: A Journey

Swap to Simple: A Journey

We want change.

We - you and I.

We - the consumer.

We want something other than rows and rows of the same product in different packaging with similar yet slightly different colors.

I want truth not lies. I want beauty not cancer.

I want to give the "middle finger" to greenwashing, to plastic, to being forced to choose how corporations want me to choose, because it's more cost-effective for them.

Come with me on a journey to that something different.

Something good, something new. Something not polluting our bodies and our planet.

There are other products out there to clean your house, take care of your skin, for your personal care and even to encourage creativity - not found in the aisles of fluorescent-lit stores.

The transition has been a slow change over the years.

Like most things in life, right?

What have I made the switch too? Razors/shaving, toothpaste/mouthwash, napkins, soap (for the most part) skincare and personal care products, travel essentials. For the household - laundry detergent and cleaning products (for the most part I just use Castile soap, baking soda hydrogen peroxide/vinegar ).  I’m sure there are other items not coming to mind. I’ll think of them later.

Making the switch to products not purchased in mass market stores has been so rewarding!

I feel like I’m helping small businesses, doing something better for both the environment and myself.

That is the change we want.
We - you and I.
We - the consumer.
We - because we are all human, organic, and natural beings.
